The West Island Weather Station of Fairhaven Massachusetts
is one of the most technologically advanced PWS weather

Real-Time Data from the Virtual Weather Software program interconnected with WeatherFlash makes for an attractive and user friendly weather screen. Data from WIWS Station #4, Davis Vantage Pro II Wireless. Primary Feed Other features include still pics from SkyCam that can easily link direct to the live stream.

West Island Weather Station has one of the most elaborate live streaming video systems in the country. Mounted on top of a 50ft Rohn tower-most of the horizon for 360 degrees is covered with wide angle color cams. High resolution-large screen. Video and special programming can be broadcast also,

AWEKAS is an acronym for "Automatisches WEtterKArten System" (= automatic weather map system) and is, as the name suggests, a system which produces overview maps from the weather data provided by participating private weather stations. The data is made available to AWEKAS by the weather station operators who upload a small text or CSV file to their own website. AWEKAS then collects this data automatically, and processes it to provide up to date maps. Data from WIWS Station #4-Weather Envoy

CAMSTREAMS  This is a favorite for WIWS visitors to view SkyCam and have live chat with a neighbor next door or a guest from around the world.
